TheCrushGirls.com is the #1 Entertainment News website (16,000+ visitors/month) for the Corpus Christi metropolitan area, and are well into our 3rd year after celebrating our 2nd Anniversary in February 2008.  We provide the most comprehensive source of information for what’s happening in our city, and we also help give back to the community by actively promoting & participating  in events that benefit a wide variety of nonprofit organizations.

Who are the Crush Girls?
The Crush Girls are the website’s spokespersons, and they represent “real” women who have a “Crush” on our city … attractive, smart, friendly, and with a heart for our community!  They are the unofficial “Cheerleaders” for our city, and they provide a personal touch to our website by interacting directly with the public on an almost daily basis.  They make it fun to discover the wide variety of events & activities that make our city a great place to live!

Applications now being accepted for spokesmodels and a co-host for our ESPN show; submit information below.  Qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview within three (3) business days.  All applications are kept on file for up to 90 days.

Basic Info:

• No experience necessary; whether you're a student or professional, single or married, kids or no kids, teens to thirty-somethings...we encourage anyone who's confident that they're the "total package" to apply.
• Minimum age 18 (or 17, if graduating from high school by May 2008).
• Paid promotions, plus additional benefits, such as free gym memberships & salon services, event/concert tickets, VIP perks, etc.
• 28 = maximum roster limit (there are currently 21 active members.)

Is this a full-time job?
No, most Crush Girls have others jobs or go to school.

What should I wear to the interview?
Nice, casual active wear or dresses are acceptable.  Also, we prefer a "girl next door" quality, so please wear your makeup and hair so that it compliments your natural beauty and features.

What will the selection committee be looking for?
The key criteria used during the interviews are:

• Personality
• Poise

How does the selection process work?
Here is what to expect during the interview process:

• Group Overview - all applicants meet together as a group and are given an Overview of the company and may participate in a Question-and-Answer period.
  
• Interviews - each applicant who wishes to continue with the process will meet individually with the selection committee for a personal interview.
• Photo Shoot - each applicant will take test photos with our photographer.
• Selection - successful applicants will be contacted and posted in the Latest News section on our website by Sept. 6, 2008.
  

Successful applicants are placed in a probationary "trainee" period ranging from 30 - 60 days, depending on their level of activity.  They are then given a final evaluation and awarded full "active" status, if approved.  Trainees may enjoy full benefits, including gym and salon privileges, during this period.

Are there any height and weight requirements?
We do not have any specific requirements; however, a minimum level of fitness is necessary in order to be able to perform some of the activities.  Our uniforms also demand that you look presentable and professional in them at all times.  All Crush Girls members enjoy free gym memberships at Platypus Fitness Center and American Revolution Muay Thai & Submission Center and are strongly encouraged to maintain a minimum level of fitness.  Crush Girls that meet and maintain certain predetermined fitness requirements also enjoy additional benefits.

What will be expected of me, if I get accepted?
Becoming a Crush Girl is a LIFESTYLE, not just a job!  The high visibility profile of Crush Girls in the community demands a strong character and commitment to being a positive role model at all times.  Responsibilities include:
