American Bank Center Arena is proud to announce stand-up
comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will be performing on Friday, October 17
at 8PM. Dunham has sold out thousands of theaters and comedy clubs and has
gained a loyal following from his countless television guest spots including
Tonight Show appearances with both Jay Leno and Johnny Carson and two top-rated
specials on Comedy Central.
Anyone who has experienced an evening with Jeff Dunham knows
that the real stars of the show are his partners in comedy, and it's the humor
and the believability of his characters, Peanut, Walter and Jose Jalapeno... on
a STEEK! that audiences everywhere embrace. Dunham was recently voted "Funniest
Male Stand-up Comic" at the American Comedy Awards, an honor shared with the
likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Jeff Foxworthy, and Robin Williams.
We'd like to thank all of the fantastic young women who attended our interviews this evening...you all were great! We were impressed with everyone, and it certainly does not reflect poorly on any of you, if you weren't chosen. and 5 platinum records. In addition he has received 40 Dove Awards, an
American Music Award, and three Grammy Awards. Smith won the Male
Vocalist of the Year Award at the GMA Music Awards in 2003.

Jam II will generate much needed revenues for Metro Ministries’ seven
programs, which help the poor and homeless: Rustic House, Vineyard
Social and Volunteer Services, Vineyard Employment Services, Gabbard
Memorial Health Clinic, Rainbow House—reopening Fall 2008, and Street
Ministry Program. Metro Ministries is now in its 26th year of service
working to reduce homelessness and poverty in the Coastal Bend.
