TOP TEJANO BANDS LINED UP FOR BESTFEST 2008
Tickets On Sale Saturday, September 13 at 12p.m.
BESTFEST 2008 featuring some of the top Tejano bands including La
Mafia, Los Palominos, Jimmy Gonzalez y Mazz and La Conquista will be
held Sunday, October 12, 2008 at American Bank Center Arena. This
concert will be part of the annual Caller-Times’ Best of the Best
Showcase being held next door in the American Bank Center Exhibit Hall.
The concert is presented by KSAB 99.9 Tejano radio and KIII TV 3.
Tickets for this concert and dance will only be $1.25 until the
concert sells out! The $1.25 ticket is being offered as part of the
Caller-Times continuing celebration of their 125th anniversary! Tickets
go on sale Saturday, September 13 at 12:00p.m. There will be a limit of
8 tickets per person, per purchase. Concert time is 1:00p.m. – 6:00p.m.
Doors will open at noon.
The Caller-Times’ Best of the Best Showcase will be held next door
in the American Bank Center Exhibit Hall with more than 200 area
businesses, a kid’s area, and more than $25,000 in door prizes.
Admission is FREE to the Best of the Best Showcase. The concert artists
will be signing autographs at the Best of the Best Showcase throughout
the day. The showcase is open from 10a.m. – 5p.m. KIII Channel 3’s
Domingo Show will broadcast live from the Best of the Best Showcase.
More than 18,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event.

Monster Jam Summer Heat is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday at the American Bank Center Arena. The Party in the Pits is only available before Saturday's event. Great seats are still available! All tickets are $2.00 more on the day of the event.
