American Bank Center Arena
Comedy duo, Cheech & Chong are bringing
their Light Up America Tour to American Bank Center Arena on November 13th with
opening act, Shelby Chong. This is the first time in 25 years the two have
teamed up for an international tour and this show is sure to be one you won't
forget!
Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin have enjoyed
incredible success since their 1978 hit movie Up In Smoke where both
men played out of work and in debt characters while trying to make a buck and
breaking a few laws along the way. Since then, Cheech and Chong have starred in
ten films and their popularity continues to gain strength with their most recent
album release in 2002 "Where There's Smoke There's Cheech & Chong." Among
Cheech Marin's film credits are roles in Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn,
Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Christmas With The Kranks. Tommy Chong's acting credits include
starring in the movie Far Out Man, appearing in Half Baked and The Spirit of '76 as well as co-starring on the FOX Television series That 70's Show.

the City of Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation department present the Budweiser
KSAB Hispanic Heritage Festival. The FREE, family friendly event will be held at
Heritage Park in downtown Corpus Christi on Sunday, October
5th from 10am until 8pm and will benefit the Hispanic Scholarship
Fund.
Come enjoy a variety of LIVE entertainment throughout the day as
well as food, fun, arts & crafts, and activities for the kids! Also, don’t
miss a minute of the Cowboys game, watch the game on the big screen in the Best
Buy tent at the festival!
This years Hispanic
Heritage Festival features a fantastic line-up. Live performances kick off at
10am during the Domingo Live show on location at Heritage Park. Other performances throughout the
day include: Michael Salgado, La Tropa F, Elida Reyna, Vida, Los Arias,
Mariachi Rio, Ballet Folklorico and more! Stop by the Advanced America Autograph
tent after the performances to meet the bands!
Numerous food and arts
& craft vendors will also be on hand for what is sure to be a good time. So
gather up the family the lawn chairs and blankets, but no coolers please, to
enjoy great entertainment, food, and fun for all ages with the KSAB
personalities!
