Hailed by The New York Times as "funny" and "poignant" and by the Daily News as "intelligent" and "courageous," The Vagina Monologues, which was first performed off-Broadway by Ms. Ensler, dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement buried in women's experiences. The Vagina Monologues explores and celebrates women's sexuality -- its delights, pains, actualities, and vulnerabilities. Through intriguing testimonies from real women all around the world, the show has developed into a wonderful phenomenon that peers into women's fantasies and fears.
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is proud to be one of many participating colleges and universities staging benefit shows of The Vagina Monologues through the V-Day College Campaign and to be a part of the worldwide movement to end violence against women and girls.
