On February 4th, En Ritmo Dance Fitness will register participants at their studio for a fitness competition called the En Shape Weight Loss Challenge. It is a contest open to the public and offers money, prizes and free memberships. An outdoor Zumba Fitness Master class will also take place from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. to kick off the event.

The challenge is 6 weeks long with an entry fee of $10 per contestant. Contestants must register, perform an initial weigh-in and attend a minimum of 12 Zumba Fitness classes over the span of six weeks to qualify for prizes. Scoring will be taken as a percentage of lost weight versus the initial weigh-in weight.

The En Shape Challenge has an open registration period that lasts from February 4th through February 10th, 2012. The first place prize includes 60% of the contest fees, 6 months free membership to En Ritmo, choice of select Zumba gear and an official En Ritmo jacket. There is money and prizes for 2nd and 3rd place as well. All contest participants will receive a free En Ritmo, En Shape rubber bracelet and a coupon for 10% off of 3 months of post-contest Zumba Fitness classes. If contestants pre-pay for the minimum 12 contest classes at the time of registration, they will receive a 10% discount on class fees. Each class costs $5.
