South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind is excited to announce that they are "bringing back the quack" with Rubber Duck Round-Up 2012. This family-oriented fundraiser will be held at Cole Park on Saturday, May 26th from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. and will be bigger and better than ever.

Attendees will have the opportunity to adopt those all-time favorite bath time toys for a chance to win some great gift cards! Even the last place duck will get a prize! In addition to the famous rubber duck race, there will be music, food and drinks, a petting zoo, pony rides, coloring contest, duck pond and much more! South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind has also invited other local non profits to set up tables in order to inform the public of the great services they provide.

Rubber ducks may be adopted on site or prior to the event by calling Alana at 693.6183. Adoption certificates will be provided. Ducks will take the plunge at 12:15 off of Cole Park pier as their proud parents cheer them on to victory. Other sponsorship and volunteers opportunities are also available.

All proceeds benefit the programs and services of South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind. For more information about Rubber Duck Round-Up or for general information about our organization, please contact Alana Manrow, Director of Public Affairs & Development at 361.693.6183 or visit www.stlb.net.
