The 2011 Texas A&M - Corpus Christi volleyball season is underway, and the schedule features 13 exciting matches at the Dugan Wellness Center this year. Season tickets are now available online or by calling Athletic Ticket Director Sean Kelly at 825-BALL.

Season tickets are just $35 for adults, or $25 for youths 16 and under or for seniors 60 and over. All tickets at the Dugan Wellness Center are general admission.

"This should be an exciting season for Islanders Volleyball," head coach Tony Graystone said. "Our young team is starting to grow into a cohesive group, and we're optimistic that we'll be one of the toughest teams in the Southland by the end of the year.

"Fan support is huge for us," Graystone added, "because when the Dugan is filled with fans it is one of the most raucous environments we play in. Our fans help us win matches when we play at home."

The Islanders open their home schedule with the 2011 Holiday Inn Emerald Beach Islanders Classic on Sept. 9-10. The host plays Towson on Friday at 6 p.m. along with Saturday matches against UTPA (11 a.m.) and North Texas (7 p.m.).
