The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men’s tennis team came up just short of capping off an incredible weekend at the prestigious HEB Tournament of Champions in front of a crowd of 350 fans. #52 TAMUCC fell by a 4-0 score to #35 Texas Tech, capping off a great weekend for the Islanders and the Corpus Christi tennis community.

The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi baseball team split a pair of contests on Saturday at the Whataburger College Classic defeating Texas-Pan American 12-7 in the afternoon before falling 16-2 to Alabama in the nightcap.

Kevin Palmer scored 19 points and Jawan Nelson added a career-high 17 as the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men’s basketball team closed out the regular season with a 79-66 win over UT Arlington at Texas Hall on Saturday. The two teams will meet for the third time this season on Thursday in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament at the Merrell Center in Katy, Texas. The game is slated for an 8:30 p.m. start.
