The famous ending to Monday Night Football sung by former Cowboy Don Meredith can apply to the IceRays after the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention this past weekend with five games remaining in their inaugural season. However, the team still has two big games at home next week against New Mexico with plenty of fantastic giveaways and chances to win some amazing prices. Corpus Christi IceRays General Manager Pat Dunn along with Intern Natalie Harvey announced that the team will host an "IceRays Day" at the Texas State Aquarium on Tuesday March 15, 2011, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. to benefit the Rise School of Corpus Christi.

Corpus Christi IceRays General Manager Pat Dun announced that the team is lending their support to the Jr. IceRays 1st Annual Skate-A-Thon, which will be held on Sunday, March 13th from 2 - 8 PM at the American Bank Center.

Corpus Christi was swept on home ice over the latter part of the weekend and last evening by the Amarillo Bulls. It is a quick turnaround for the team though as the Texas Tornado swirl into town for two games on Thursday and Friday nights.

The Corpus Christi IceRays kick off the final month of the regular season with an afternoon tilt against the Amarillo Bulls at the American Bank Center beginning at 3:05 PM. It is the beginning of a two-game set and the third consecutive game against the Bulls. Including today's game, the ‘Rays play their next four games at the ABC. It is home game number 24 and the 22nd at the Bank this season for the IceRays. Corpus Christi is 10-12-1 in home games.
