Eight great games in nine days at 734 East Port Avenue are right around the corner.  You won't want to miss a moment of the action as the Hooks return to Whataburger Field this Saturday!

Here's a look at it all:

Saturday, May 5, San Antonio Missions @ Hooks, 6:05 p.m. (gates open 4:30)
cc hooks- The first 2,000 fans receive a Hooks Tumbler Cup from Catholic Schools.
- Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us! Enjoy Los Lonely Boys postgame, presented by State Farm.
- National Anthem by Mariachi Mexicanisimo.
- Matt Hicks, Voice of the Hooks, leads the 7th-inning stretch.

Hooks Fans: May 6-11 is Goodwill Week, when regular donors at any of the 17 Coastal Bend Goodwill donation centers earn free tickets to the Hooks' Saturday, May 11 game against the Frisco RoughRiders.

You can also donate gently-used clothing items at the large Whataburger fry box at the main gates of Whataburger Field before home games all week long. PRIZE: 2 GA tickets for a Hooks home game and a 2012 Goodwill/Hooks t-shirt.

Sunday, May 6, Missions @ Hooks, 1:05 p.m. (gates open 11:30)
- The first 1,000 kids 12-&-under receive an Astros 1960s Shooting Star Jersey from Coca-Cola.
- National Anthem by Loretta Hooper.
- Hooks season-ticket holders enjoy a postgame meet-&-greet with the team under the scoreboard. The function is hosted by Matt Hicks.
- H-E-B Kids' Day, children run the bases postgame.

Monday, May 7, Missions @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
- One-Dollar Hot Dogs & Soda, sponsored by Mrs Baird's.
- It's Faith & Family Night. Pregame concert, praise and worship led by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on the right-field berm. Event begins at 6 p.m. For information contact Andy Steavens at 361-561-4677.
- National Anthem by Vanessa Perez.
- Stroke Awareness Night, visit the concourse information table.
- Real Estate Industry Night, call Craig Wendel at 361-561-4719 for discounted tickets.

Tuesday, May 8, Missions @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
- Half-Price Group Night, presented by Champion Automotive; call
361-561-4677 to learn more.
- UTSA Night, meet football coach Larry Coker at the Goodwill Zone pregame.
- Ceremonial first pitch by Champion of the Homestand James Ikonomopoulos, representing MHMR of Nueces County.
- National Anthem by the W.C. Andrews Elementary School Dolphin Choir.
- LEPC Night, visit the Local Emergency Planning Committee table on the concourse.

Thursday, May 10, Frisco RoughRiders @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
- Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes.
- The first 2,500 fans receive a J.D. Martinez Bobblehead from CPL Retail Energy.
- After 8:30 a.m. on the 10th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/stripesstores to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day. Later that day or night, repeat the word at the Whataburger Field box office and receive a free Hooks Thirsty Thursday reserved-seat or general admission ticket for each Thirsty Thursday ticket purchased.

- Nurses/Scrubs Night, dial Jeff Mackor at 361-561-4678 for discounted tickets.

Friday, May 11, RoughRiders @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
- Enjoy Friday Fireworks postgame, presented by Bud Light.
- Texas Lottery Night, presented by the Texas Lottery Commission.
- Sign up at Guest Services to compete in the CPL Retail Energy Flip the Switch Challenge. If your postgame dance is judged best by the crowd, you'll win a $200 VISA gift card.
- National Anthem by Gwenn Winsauer.
- Matt Hicks, Voice of the Hooks, leads the 7th-inning stretch.

Saturday, May 12, RoughRiders @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
- The first 1,750 fans receive an Astros 1960s Shooting Star Jersey from CITGO.
- Ronny Holiday entertains fans outside the main gates from 4:30-5:15.
- Matt Hicks, Voice of the Hooks, leads the 7th-inning stretch.

Sunday, May 13, RoughRiders @ Hooks, 1:05 p.m. (gates open 11:30)
- The first 2,500 fans receive a Hooks Pink Cap from Christus Spohn.
- In observance of Mother's Day, the first 1,000 moms in attendance get a carnation from Castro's Flowers.
- Pregame dance performances by Mary Jane's Gymnastics, Northwest Kids Sports Complex and the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders Dance Team.
- National Anthem by Dave Miller.
- H-E-B Kids' Day, children run the bases postgame.
