After a quick weekend wrap-around series at Midland, your first-place Hooks settle in for a half-dozen at the friendly confines of Whataburger Field versus the Arkansas Travelers and Springfield Cardinals.  Team photos, duffle bags, a Nolan Ryan Bobblehead and the Texas Tornados in concert highlight homestand No. 10.

Wednesday, August 8, Travelers @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

-All fans take home a 2012 Hooks Team Photo from the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.

-Your 2012 Corpus Christi Hooks sign team photos on the main concourse from 5:45-6:15.

-Astros legend Enos Cabell visits with fans and signs autographs between 5:30 and 6:30 on the main concourse at Section 119.

-Whataburger Family Day, buy a ticket for yourself and get your kid's ticket free!

-Donate your gently-used Hooks clothing item to Goodwill near the main gates at the giant Whataburger fry box. In exchange, you'll get a new Hooks t-shirt, ticket voucher and special Whataburger coupon offer!

-Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi Night with discounted tickets, call Jeff Mackor at 361-561-4678.

Thursday, August 9, Travelers @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

-The first 2,500 fans receive a Hooks Duffle Bag from ValueBank Texas.

-Thirsty Thursday, with discounted beer and soda from Stripes.

-After 8:30 a.m. on the 9th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/stripesstores to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day. Later that day or night, repeat the word at the Whataburger Field box office and receive a free Hooks Thirsty Thursday reserved-seat or general admission ticket for each Thirsty Thursday ticket purchased.

Friday, August 10, Travelers @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

-Enjoy Friday Fireworks postgame, presented by Bud Light.

-It's Texas Lottery Night, presented by the Texas Lottery Commission.

-Sign up at Guest Services to compete in the CPL Retail Energy Flip the Switch Challenge. If your postgame dance is judged best by the crowd, you'll win a $200 VISA gift card.

-National Anthem by Sierra Howe.

 

Saturday, August 11, Cardinals @ Hooks, 6:05 p.m. (gates open 4:30)

-The first 2,500 fans pick up a Nolan Ryan Bobblehead from Wigington Rumley Dunn & Ritch.

-Texas Tornados postgame concert from the Goodwill Zone presented by Mattress Firm.

-National anthem by Zelda Olivares.

 

Sunday, August 12, Cardinals @ Hooks, 6:05 p.m. (gates open 4:30)

-Enjoy our Olympic-themed Mascot Night, festivities begin pregame.

-Rusty's Kids Club members have a private pregame photo session with the mascots in Kieschnick's Korner.

-H-E-B Kids' Day, children run the bases postgame.

 

Monday, August 13, Cardinals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

-One-Dollar Hot Dogs & Soda, sponsored by Mrs Baird's.
