It won't be much longer.  Promise.  Your Corpus Christi Hooks return to Whataburger Field for a six-game homestand Thursday, April 14th through next Tuesday. Tulsa and Northwest Arkansas provide the opposition as the Hooks begin their seventh season at Whataburger Field.

Here's a peek:

Thursday, April 14, Tulsa Drillers @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

corpus christi hooks- Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes.

- All fans receive a 2011 Hooks schedule magnet, compliments of CPL Retail Energy.

- Mariachi Mexicanisimo revs us up on the concourse.

- Enjoy postgame fireworks from the Hooks.

- Pregame flyover courtesy of our friends at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi.

- It's Sixth Annual Rockport-Fulton Night at Whataburger Field, so the R-FHS choir performs our National Anthem, colors presented by the Pirate NJROTC. Join the choir in singing "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch.

- Texas country star Charlie Robison performs "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

 

Friday, April 15, Drillers @ Hooks, 6:35 p.m. (gates open 5:00)

- Enjoy Friday Fireworks postgame, presented by Bud Light.

- Neal McCoy in concert postgame, brought to you by Cricket, the Caller-Times, KIII-TV3 and K-99.

- Sign up at Guest Services to compete in the CPL Retail Energy Flip the Switch Challenge. If your postgame dance is judged best by the crowd, you'll win a $200 VISA gift card.

- National Anthem by the Del Mar Choir.

 

Saturday, April 16, Drillers @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

- The first 1,750 fans receive a Whataburger Field desk clock from Whataburger.

- National Anthem by the Choir of Angels from Victoria's Nazareth Academy.

- Matt Hicks, Voice of the Hooks, leads the 7th-inning stretch.

 

Sunday, April 17, Northwest Arkansas Naturals @ Hooks, 2:05 p.m. (gates open 12:30)

- The first 2,500 fans receive a Hooks fleece blanket, sponsored by your Coastal Bend Chevy Dealers.

- Colors presented by the Coastal Bend Cadet Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.

- Rusty's Kids Club members are admitted free (general admission) upon presentation of their RKC card and can pick up a free Driscoll Children's Hospital Kid Zone wristband in the Kid Zone.

- H-E-B Kids' Day, children run the bases postgame.

 

Monday, April 18, Naturals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

- One-Dollar Hot Dogs & Soda, sponsored by Mrs Baird's.

- Bring a honey purchase receipt to the Whataburger Field ticket office, buy one ticket and get another free. Compliments of the National Honey Board.
