Call for entries for South Texas Underground Film Festival

MISSION & OBJECTIVE
South Texas Underground Film wishes to provide a public presentation for the independent and underground filmmaker so that they can show and share their works.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
South Texas Underground Film announces its first annual South Texas Underground Film Festival 2012. It is an international film competition that brings together films/media that are underground, insane and bizarre. The festival wishes to expose the public to the best in underground, insane and bizarre features, in-betweens, shorts, docs, animations and music videos.

South Texas Underground Film is currently seeking out films/media that have controversial, alternative, political and underground point's of view. South Texas Underground Film Festival is a public platform that will celebrate these filmmakers visions.

*Films submitted must be in English or Subtitled in English
*DVD NTSC Region 0 or 1
*Digital Format(.mov, .wmv, .mpg)
*Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English.
*In addition to your entry, please enclose any press kits, reviews, or
publicity materials (optional).
*Please send two(2) menu-less DVD for screening.

SHIPPING
*Cost of shipping exhibition prints to STUF is the responsibility of the entrant.
*Exhibition copies must be sent to South Texas Underground Film prepaid.
*South Texas Underground Film cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit.
*Please use only plastic or bubble pack cases when shipping entries.

CONFIRMATION
*Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed postcard if you wish to receive
confirmation that your entry has been received.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
*Presentational format will need to be in our office two weeks before the festival.
*Be sure to indicate aspect ratio of your film/video as well as any other special screening/presentation information we might need to know.
*We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.

By entering a film/video, permission is granted to South Texas Underground Film to screen it in its year-round programming. Through our Screenings, Broadcasts and year-round programming, South Texas Underground Film showcases local, US and international filmmakers, fostering a greater sense of awareness and community among the filmmakers and audiences.
